Connections

Connections is CTA's monthly television show which is broadcast daily on the City of Chicago's municipal cable channel and weekly on Comcast's municipal cable channels. In Chicago, Connections airs on cable channel 49 at 9 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. every day. It also airs twice daily on cable channel 23 on a rotating schedule with other city programs in the 8-9 a.m., 1-2 p.m., 7-8 p.m. and 10-11 p.m. time slots. Connections is currently airing on Comcast in Chicago and suburbs on Monday at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday at 5:00 p.m., Thursday at 3:30 p.m., Friday at 5:00 p.m. & Saturday at 2:00 p.m.

Connections promotes CTA's existing bus and rail service and the many initiatives, investments and programs being implemented to deliver service that is on-time, clean, safe and friendly. The program showcases CTA's regional service and affordable, convenient travel options so existing customers may increase their use of CTA and new customers will give it a try.

Connections is also available as a free video podcast, and you can subscribe to the Connections video podcast which allows you to automatically receive each month's program without charge. Here's how:

You can either choose a specific episode for instant viewing, or you can subscribe once, and automatically download new shows each month. Like all video podcasts, Connections can be viewed directly on your computer or laptop, or can be viewed on a portable device such as the video iPod.
