The Chicago Transit Authority is a convenient and affordable transit option for customers traveling to events throughout Chicago this weekend. Additional service will be provided to accommodate customers heading to the 2015 BMO Harris Bank Magnificent Mile Lights Festival and the Bears game at Soldier Field.
Customers are advised to allow extra travel time.
BMO Harris Bank Magnificent Mile Lights Festival
CTA will provide extra rail service for the 2015 Magnificent Mile Lights Festival on Saturday.
RAIL:
CTA will operate longer Brown, Blue, Orange and Pink Line trains beginning at approximately 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. In addition, Red Line trains will operate with increased frequency beginning at approximately 3 p.m. until 7 p.m.
BUS:
The following buses will be temporarily rerouted from approximately 3 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. because of street closures related to the festival:

Bears Game
The Chicago Bears will host the Denver Broncos at Soldier Field this Sunday at noon. The CTA will operate the #128 Soldier Field Express between Union Station, Ogilvie and Soldier Field, and will provide additional #146 Inner Drive/Michigan Express service for customers heading to the game. Additional service will begin at approximately 9 a.m. and continue until one hour after the game ends.
