CTA to Provide Additional Service to The Police Wrigley Field Concerts

The Chicago Transit Authority will operate additional and later service on rail and bus routes for fans heading to Wrigley Field for The Police concerts on July 5-6. The concerts begin at
7 p.m.

Additional service on the #X80 Irving Park Express will operate from the Irving Park Blue Line and the Irving Park Metra station before the concert only. After the concert ends, customers can use the #80 Irving Park service at Irving Park and Clark which will operate every 15 minutes.

CTA also will provide extra buses and later service along the #152 Addison route. #152 buses will operate approximately every five minutes for one hour following the end of concerts.

Beginning at 4:05 p.m. #154 Wrigley Field Express service will operate from the DeVry University Park and Ride every 10 to 12 minutes. #154 buses will leave Wrigley Field approximately every eight minutes for one hour following the end of the concerts.

CTA's Yellow Line will operate until 12:05 a.m. from Howard to Skokie and longer Red Line trains will operate to Wrigley Field to accommodate the anticipated crowds.
