Applicants for Bus Operator position will enjoy newly increased competitive pay – starting hourly wages of $29.65, as well as excellent health benefits, a pension, and opportunities for advancement. Plus, there’s a hiring bonus of $1,000! The bonus will appear on the first paycheck and employees must remain at CTA for one year.
“Job fairs such as this are a critical element to our ongoing efforts to further improve the delivery and overall reliability of our bus services,” CTA President Dorval R. Carter, Jr., said. “We continue to make fantastic progress in strengthening our workforce, having already surpassed our hiring goal of 700 bus operators this year, and we anticipate hiring as many as 900 by the end of the year.”
