King Drive Closed Northbound from 24th Place to Cermak
Construction is closing the northbound lanes of King Drive for about four weeks between 24th Place and Cermak. During this time, northbound buses on the #3 King Drive and #4 Cottage Grove routes, and westbound #21 Cermak and X21 Cermak Express buses will turn west from King Drive at 24th Place and go north on Michigan to Cermak where they will resume their regular routing.

Race for the Cure Affects Service in South Loop Briefly Saturday
Service on CTA's #3 King Drive, #4Cottage Grove, #12 Roosevelt, #18 16th/18th #29 State and #62 Archer buses will be delayed briefly, starting around 8 a.m. Saturday, September 16, by the Race for the Cure, which will affect traffic in the South Loop, mainly on Michigan between Cullerton and Roosevelt

Historical Humboldt Park Street Fest Saturday, September 16
The Humboldt Park festival will close Division Street throughout the day and evening Saturday, September 16, between Western and California. #70 Division buses will be detoured off Division via California, North and Western back to Division in both directions.

South Chicago Chamber of Commerce Parade Saturday, September 16
#27 South Deering buses will be delayed and/or detoured briefly, as needed, starting around noon Saturday, September 16, for the parade on Commercial Avenue between 87th and 101st.

#19 United Express Buses Return to Regular Routing for Game Sunday
CTA's #19 United Express buses will return to their regular routing on Michigan from Chicago to Madison and west to the United Center for the exhibition hockey game at 7 p.m. Sunday, September 17, between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Buffalo Sabres. #19 buses provide direct service to the United Center for all Blackhawks and Bulls home games, starting about two hours before game time. Construction on Michigan had required detouring the buses to State between Wacker and Madison.
