CTA SERVICE AFFECTED BY SPECIAL EVENTS OVER THE WEEKEND OF APRIL 20 – 22

Extra Service to United Center for Champions On Ice Saturday, April 21#19 United Center Expressbuses will serve the United Center Saturday, April 21, for the Champions On Ice performances starting at 2 p.m. and at 8 p.m. #19 buses will operate southbound on Michigan from Chicago every 12 minutes, beginning two hours before and continuing until 30 minutes before the start of each performance. After stopping on Michigan at Chicago, Illinois and Randolph, #19 buses turn west on Madison, making stops at State for customers connecting from Green, Red and Blue Line trains, and at Wells for Brown and Orange Line riders. One additional stop is made on Madison at Clinton for Metra riders from the Ogilvie Center and Union Station before the buses run express to the United Center. For return trips, #19 buses await riders on Madison at Gate 3, take Washington to Michigan downtown, and make all stops north to Chicago.

Brown Line Trains Affected by Structural Work Sunday, April 22Structural work between Hill and Elm Streets will affect Brown Line service Sunday, April 22, from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. During this period, trains will operate alternately in both directions on a single track while serving the Chicago and Sedgwick stations. A special schedule will be in effect, with trains operating every 15 minutes in both directions.
