CTA SERVICE AFFECTED BY PARADE AND CONSTRUCTION WEEKEND OF JANUARY 28-29

Brown Line Trains Affected by Structural Work Sunday, January 28
Structural work between Hill and Elm Streets will affect Brown Line service Sunday, January 28, from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. During this period, trains will operate alternately in both directions using the same track while serving the Chicago and Sedgwick stations. A special schedule will be in effect, with trains operating every 15 minutes in both directions.

Chinese New Year's Day Parade
Wentworth will be closed between Cermak and 24th Street, and eastbound Cermak will be closed between Archer and LaSalle, for the Chinese New Year's Day Parade from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, January 28. Eastbound #21 Cermak and X21 Cermak Express buses will be rerouted via Archer and Clark back to Cermak, where they will return to their regular routes. #44 Wallace-Racine buses will follow the same detour to Cermak before turning west to end their trips at the Red Line station. Westbound buses will not be affected.

Utility and Road Construction Closes Pulaski from Armitage to Fullerton
Pulaski will be closed between Armitage and Fullerton from Monday, January 29, until Saturday, July 7, for utility and roadway construction. CTA's #53 Pulaski buses will be rerouted off Pulaski northbound and southbound via Fullerton, Central Park and Armitage.
