CTA SERVICE AFFECTED BY EVENTS STARTING THE WEEKEND OF MAY 18 - 20

Red Line Subway Affected by Overnight Signal Work May 18 - 20Signal renewal work on the Red Line will require trains to operate over the northbound track in both directions while serving the North/Clybourn station from 9 p.m. Friday, May 18, until 6 a.m. Saturday, May 19. From 8 p.m. Saturday until 6 a.m. Sunday, May 20, all trains will operate over the northbound track while serving the Grand, Chicago and Clark/Division stations. Throughout the period the work is in progress, the regular Red Line schedule will be maintained.

Orange Line Trains Run On Outer Loop Tracks Saturday Night, May 19 Nighttime work on the protective canopy over the 'L' tracks at Randolph and Wells is continuing, and will require Orange Line trains to use the outer Loop tracks from 8 p.m. until service ends around midnight Saturday, May 19. During this time, Orange Line trains will make their first Loop stop northbound at Adams/Wabash. They will then make all regular station stops at platforms opposite the ones they usually serve as they operate north on Wabash, west on Lake, south on Wells and east on Van Buren back to Wabash.

Main Course 10K Run Detours Buses Off Columbus Sunday, May 20Columbus Drive in Grant Park will be closed between Roosevelt and Randolph Sunday, May 20, until about 1 p.m. for the Main Course 10K Run. During this time, #6 Jeffery Express, #10 Museum of Science & Industry, #130 Grant Park Treasures and #146 Marine/Michigan buses will be detoured off Columbus to Michigan in both directions between Roosevelt and Balbo.

Structure Work Affects Blue Line Service at Logan Square Sunday, May 20Blue Line trains will operate over a single track in both directions while serving the Logan Square station Sunday, May 20, from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. so structural work can be performed south of the station. During this period, customers at Logan Square will board trains in both directions on the same side of the island platform. The work will shift at midday from the northbound to the southbound track. The regular Sunday schedule will be maintained.

Brown Line Trains Detoured To Inner Loop Tracks After 8 p.m. May 21 ? 26Canopy work over the 'L' tracks at Randolph/Wells will require Brown Line trains to operate on the inner Loop tracks from 8 p.m. until service ends around midnight Monday, May 21, through Saturday, May 26. During this period, Brown Line trains will make their first Loop stop eastbound at Clark/Lake. They will then stop at all station platforms opposite the ones they usually serve as they proceed east on Lake, south on Wabash, west on Van Buren and north on Wells.
