Brown Line Trains Detoured to Inner Loop After 8 p.m. June 23-25 Nighttime work on the canopy over the outer Loop tracks on Wells at Randolph will require Brown Line trains to use the inner Loop from 8 p.m. until service ends around midnight Saturday, Sunday and Monday, June 23 ? 25. During this time, Brown Line trains will make their first Loop stop eastbound at Clark/Lake. They will then stop at all station platforms opposite the ones they usually serve as they operate east on Lake, south on Wabash, west on Van Buren and north on Wells.
O'Hare Branch Blue Line Affected by Track Work at California SundayMaintenance work will require O'Hare branch Blue Line trains to use a single track while serving the California station Sunday, June 24 from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Gay and Lesbian Pride Parade Detours Five Bus Lines Sunday, June 24Five bus lines will be detoured for the Gay and Lesbian Pride Parade, which is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, June 24. Starting on Halsted at Belmont, the line of march will be north on Halsted to Broadway, south on Broadway to Diversey and east on Diversey to Cannon Drive in Lincoln Park. #8 Halsted, #36 Broadway, #77 Belmont, #151 Sheridan and #152 Addison buses will be affected.
Late Night Track Work Affects Red Line South of Howard June 25 ? 29Track work will require Red Line trains southbound from Howard to bypass stations at Jarvis, Morse and Loyola from 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Monday, June 25, through Friday, June 29. Customers wishing to travel south from these stations should take a northbound train to Howard and change to a southbound train. Customers on southbound trains wishing to exit at these stations should ride south to Granville and change to a northbound train.
Halsted Entrance to UIC-Halsted Blue Line Station Opens Tuesday, June 26The Halsted entrance to the UIC-Halsted Blue Line station will be reopened at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 26, providing direct access for customers transferring between Blue Line trains and #7 Harrison and #8 Halsted buses. The Halsted entrance (800 West), which has been closed for reconstruction since October, is now ADA accessible to customers with disabilities. The Morgan entrance (1000 West) to the station was made accessible last September. There is a third entrance to the station from the UIC campus at Peoria (900 West).
