Extra Service and Bus Detours for Taste of Chicago Through July 8 Extra CTA service for Taste of Chicago will continue through Sunday, July 8.
Track Work Affects Red Line South of Loyola Thursday and Friday Nights Track work will require Red Line trains southbound from Loyola to bypass stations at Granville, Thorndale and Bryn Mawr from 10 p.m. until 4:30 a.m. Thursday, July 5 and Friday, July 6. Customers traveling south from these stations should take a northbound train to Loyola and change to a southbound train. Customers on southbound trains intending to exit at these stations should ride south to Berwyn and change to a northbound train.
Extra Service for Dave Matthews Concerts at Soldier Field July 6 - 7Extra #130 Grant Park Treasures buses will serve Soldier Field for the Dave Matthews concerts at 6 p.m. Friday, July 6, and Saturday, July 7. #130 buses start their trips at Ogilvie Transportation Center westbound on Madison just west of Canal, and stop for Union Station eastbound on Jackson at Canal. Also serving the concerts will be extra #146 Marine/Michigan buses operating south on State from Kinzie downtown. Extra #12 Roosevelt buses to Soldier Field stop at 'L' stations on Roosevelt for customers transferring from Red, Green and Orange Line trains. Buses on all three routes will make return trips from Soldier Field after the concerts end.
Buses Detoured off Lincoln by Street Fair at School Street July 7 - 8#11 Lincoln buses will be detoured off Lincoln between Belmont and Addison for a street fair at School Street Saturday and Sunday, July 7-8.
Northbound buses will turn off Lincoln at Ashland, go north to Addison, and west on Addison back to Lincoln. Southbound buses will make the same detour in reverse.
New Green Line Station Open at Conservatory ? Central Park Drive A new Green Line station has opened on Lake Street at Conservatory ? Central Park Drive (3600 West). The station, which is ADA accessible, is adjacent to the Garfield Park Conservatory and will remain open during all hours of Green Line service. Green Line trains make stops in the Loop along Wabash and Lake.
