Purple Line Trains Serve Northwestern-Illinois Game SaturdayLonger trains will operate on the Purple Line for the 11 a.m. football game Saturday, November 18, at Ryan Field in Evanston between the Northwestern Wildcats and the University of Illinois Illini. Red Line riders can transfer at Howard to Purple Line trains that stop near Ryan Field at Central Street. Extra Customer Assistants will serve fans returning to the Central Street station after the game.

Lights Festival on Michigan Avenue Saturday Detours 7 Bus Lines Seven bus lines that operate on Michigan Avenue north of the Chicago River will be detoured to State Street during the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival Saturday, November 18, from about 5:15 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. The festival motorcade will proceed south on Michigan from Oak to Wacker. The affected bus lines include the #3 King Drive, #10 Museum of Science & Industry, #19 United Center Express, #145 Wilson/Michigan Express, #146 Marine/Michigan Express, #147 Outer Drive Express, and #151 Sheridan. #145, #146, #147 and #151 buses will be detoured at LaSalle Drive to serve the downtown area via Clark, Division and State in both directions.

Structural Work Affects Brown Line from Damen to Irving Park SundayStructural work will require Brown Line trains to operate on a single track Sunday, November 19, from 7:30 a.m. until about 5:30 p.m. between the Damen and Irving Park stations. Customers should allow extra travel time to reach their destinations.

Extra Service for Bears-Tampa Bay Football Game at Noon SundayExtra #146 Marine/Michigan buses will supplement regular service to Soldier Field beginning at 10 a.m. Sunday, November 19, southbound on State from Kinzie for the noon football game between the Bears and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. #128 Soldier Field Express buses will serve Soldier Field directly from the Ogilvie Transportation Center and Union Station. Extra #12 Roosevelt buses will operate to Soldier Field from the accessible Roosevelt 'L'-subway stations east of State that are served by Red, Green and Orange Line trains.
