Wacker Drive Construction Detours Continue for 12 Bus Lines Twelve CTA bus lines continue their detours for the Wacker Drive reconstruction project. They are the #2 Hyde Park Express, #6 Jeffery Express, #10 Museum of Science & Industry, #24 Wentworth, #29 State, #36 Broadway, #37 Sedgwick/Ogden, #62 Archer, #122 Illinois Center/North Western Express, #123 Illinois Center/Union Express, #125 Water Tower Express and #146 Marine/Michigan Express. Informational notices have been posted on buses and at the affected bus stops.
Shuttle Buses Serve Three O'Hare Branch Blue Line Stations Saturday Shuttle buses will replace trains serving O'Hare branch Blue Line stations at Damen, Western and California from 7 a.m. Saturday until 10 a.m. Sunday to allow construction work to proceed at the Western/O'Hare station. Buses will meet each train and operate along a route that serves all three stations. Customers should allow 15 to 30 minutes extra travel time for their trips. Also, from midnight Friday until 7 a.m. Saturday, and from 10 a.m. until midnight Sunday, construction will require trains to operate alternately in both directions using the same track while serving the Damen and Western stations. During this period trains will run every 15 minutes in each direction.
CTA Buses Serve Soldier Field for Enforcers Football Game SundaySoldier Field will be served by extra CTA buses Sunday, starting about two hours before the 3 p.m. XFL football game between the Chicago Enforcers and Las Vegas. Shuttle buses will supplement regular service on the #12 Roosevelt route from the fully accessible Red, Green and Orange Line 'L' stations at Roosevelt. Extra #146 Marine/Michigan buses will operate south on State from Lake. #128 Soldier Field Express buses will provide direct service from the Ogilvie Transportation Center (North Western Station) from a stop westbound on Madison between Canal and Clinton, and from Union Station eastbound on Jackson from Canal before running express to Soldier Field.
