Toys for Tots Motorcade Slows Traffic on Western Sunday MorningThousands of motorcycles will take part in the Toys for Tots Motorcade, which will proceed north on Western Avenue from 83rd Street to Foster Avenue Sunday, December 3, from 9 a.m. until about noon. Delays can be expected on #49 Western, #49B North Western and Pace #349 South Western bus routes, and on all routes that cross Western from 79th to Foster, although no detours are anticipated. The parade will end at the Marine Corps Armory on Foster at Troy.
Extra Service for Bears-Green Bay Football Game at 7:20 p.m. SundayExtra #146 Marine/Michigan buses will supplement regular service to Soldier Field, beginning at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, December 3, southbound on State from Kinzie, for the 7:20 p.m. game between the Bears and the Green Bay Packers. #128 Soldier Field Express buses will serve Soldier Field directly from the Ogilvie Transportation Center and Union Station, starting at 4 p.m. Extra buses on the #12 Roosevelt route will operate to Soldier Field from the accessible Roosevelt 'L'-subway stations east of State that are served by Red, Green and Orange Line trains.
