The Chicago Transit Authority will provide extra transit service to get fans to and from the NFC Divisional Playoff game against the Carolina Panthers this Sunday, January 15. The game is scheduled to kickoff at 3:30 p.m.
Bus Service
CTA will provide additional service on the #146 Inner Drive/Michigan Express and on the #12 Roosevelt bus routes beginning two hours before the game until kickoff and for one hour after the game ends.
#146 Inner Drive/Michigan Express will operate additional buses to Soldier Field every few minutes between State/Lake and Soldier Field.
#12 Roosevelt will operate additional buses between State Street and Solider Field.
#128 Soldier Field Express route will operate non-stop between the Ogilvie Transportation Center, Union Station and Soldier Field for the convenience of Bears fans. Service begins approximately two hours before the game until kickoff. After the game, buses leave Soldier Field every few minutes until one hour after the game ends.
The special fare for #128 buses is $1 for full fare customers and 50 cents for reduced fare customers. The exact cash fare is required to receive the special rate.
Rail Service
In addition to the three CTA bus routes that serve Soldier Field, the CTA's Red, Orange and Green Line trains stop a few blocks away from the stadium at Roosevelt and State. CTA will operate longer Red Line trains and provide additional Customer Assistants at the Roosevelt Green Line/Orange Line elevated and the Red Line subway stations to assist fans.
