CTA Providing Additional Personnel for Crowds Attending September 1 Immigrant Workers Justice Walk

The Chicago Transit Authority will have extra personnel available on the system throughout the day to assist customers in anticipation of the crowds expected to attend the Immigrant Workers Justice Walk on Friday, September 1. In addition, CTA is advising customers to allow plenty of extra travel time.

To speed travel and reduce lines, customers are encouraged to buy farecards in advance with sufficient value or to add enough value to their existing farecards (either the Chicago Card or magnetic strip farecard) for their return trips later in the day.

Bus routes that travel in the vicinity of the walk route may be impacted with intermittent delays. Routes that serve the area include:

The walk will begin in Chinatown on Friday, September 1 at approximately noon.
