The Chicago Transit Authority will provide extra buses and longer trains to serve Blues fans attending the annual Chicago Blues Festival at Grant Park Thursday, May 30 through Sunday, June 2. Performances will take place daily from noon until 9:30 p.m.

At the end of each evening, extra buses on the #146 Marine/Michigan Express and #151 Sheridan routes will be available for customers on Congress Plaza between Harrison and Congress. CTA bus supervisors will be on hand to monitor traffic and to assist customers.

Also during the Blues Festival and other summer events, the Brown and Green Lines will operate with longer trains to accommodate more customers. Blue, Red and Orange Line trains already operate with at least four cars during these hours. Additional customer assistants will be on duty at downtown stations to help customers with service and fare information.
