CTA will operate its #19 United Center Express buses to the United Center from North Michigan Avenue and Madison Street downtown for the Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament Thursday, March 13 through Sunday, March 16.
Game times vary and include morning, afternoon and evening sessions. Fully accessible #19 United Center Express buses will serve every session, beginning about two hours before the start of each game, and continuing until an hour after the end of the last game in each session, operating every six to 10 minutes.
#19 buses will begin their trips westbound on Chestnut east of Michigan before turning south on Michigan and making stops at Superior, Illinois, South Water and Randolph. After turning west on Madison, the buses stop at Wabash, State and Wells for customers transferring from 'L' and subway trains, and at Clinton for Metra riders from the Ogilvie Transportation Center and Union Station. The buses then run express to the United Center.
After each game, #19 buses await riders eastbound on Madison near Gate 3 of the United Center for return trips. #19 buses will stop on Washington at Canal for the Ogilvie Center and Union Station, and at all stops through downtown east on Washington to Michigan and north on Michigan to Chicago.
