CTA will operate its #19 United Center Express buses to the United Center from North Michigan Avenue and Madison Street downtown for all Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament games Thursday, March 8, through Sunday, March 11.
Game times vary, and include both afternoon and evening sessions. Fully accessible #19 United Center Express buses will operate every 10 minutes, starting southbound on Michigan at Chicago Avenue two hours before the start of the first game, and continuing until 30 minutes before the start of the last game in each session.
After stopping on Michigan at Chicago, Illinois, South Water and Randolph, #19 buses turn west on Madison, making stops at Wabash for the Green Line ?L," at State for riders transferring from the Red and Blue Line subways, at Wells for the Brown and Orange Line ?L," and at Clinton for Metra riders from the Ogilvie Transportation Center (North Western Station) and Union Station. The buses then run express to the United Center.
After each game, #19 United Center Express buses await riders on the north side of the United Center eastbound on Madison near Gate 3 for return trips downtown via Madison, Halsted, Washington, and Michigan to Chicago. Stops are made for the Ogilvie Center and Union Station at Canal, for the Blue Line subway at Dearborn, for the Red Line subway at State, and for the 'L' at Michigan/Randolph. #19 buses then make all stops north on Michigan to Chicago.
