CTA will operate its #19 United Center Express buses to the United Center for three basketball games Saturday, December 1.
NCAA teams from the University of Texas and Stanford will play at 11 a.m. Notre Dame will face DePaul at 1:30 p.m., and an NBA game between the Bulls and the Philadelphia 76ers will start at 7:30 p.m.
Beginning two hours before each game, and continuing until 30 minutes before tip-off time, fully accessible #19 United Center Express buses will operate every 12 minutes, starting southbound on Michigan at Chicago Avenue. After each game, #19 buses will make return trips east through the Loop and north on Michigan to Chicago.
Outbound #19 buses stop on Michigan at Chicago, Illinois and Randolph before turning west on Madison. Stops are then made at Wabash, State and Wells for riders transferring from 'L'-subway trains, and at Clinton for Metra riders from the Ogilvie Transportation Center and Union Station. Buses then run express to the United Center.
After each game, #19 buses will await riders on the north side of the United Center eastbound on Madison near Gate 3. Return trips are via Madison, Green and Washington to Michigan, where buses make all stops north to Chicago.
