CTA will operate its #19 United Center Express buses to the United Center from North Michigan Avenue and Madison Street downtown for the Madonna ?Drowned World Tour? concerts Tuesday and Wednesday, August 28-29. The concerts are scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. both nights.
Fully accessible #19 United Center Express buses will operate every 12 minutes, starting southbound on Michigan at Chicago Avenue two hours before the start of each concert and continuing until 30 minutes before. After the concerts, #19 buses will make return trips east through the Loop and north on Michigan to Chicago.
Outbound #19 buses stop on Michigan at Chicago, Illinois and Randolph before turning west on Madison. Stops are made at State for riders transferring from the Green Line 'L' and Red and Blue Line subway trains, at Wells for the Brown and Orange Line ?L," and at Clinton for Metra riders from the Ogilvie Transportation Center and Union Station. The buses then run express to the United Center.
After each concert, #19 United Center Express buses await riders on the north side of the United Center eastbound on Madison near Gate 3. Return trips downtown are via Madison, Green, Washington, and Michigan to Chicago. Stops are made for the Ogilvie Center and Union Station at Canal, for the Blue Line subway at Dearborn, the Red Line subway at State, and for the 'L' at Michigan/Randolph. #19 buses then make all stops north on Michigan to Chicago.
