CTA JOINS OTHER AGENCIES LOOKING FOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY PROFESSIONALS

The Chicago Transit Authority will join with The City of Chicago and other local government agencies in hosting an Information Technology Job Fair, Saturday, April 21st from 10am-4pm. The Job Fair will take place at the Chicago Hilton and Towers, 720 South Michigan Avenue, in the North-East Hall Exhibit Center.

Participating agencies will be recruiting IT professionals with expertise in network administration, web/internet technology, database administration, programming, project management, technology trainers, system engineering, electrical engineering, instructors for computer-related programs and IT internships.

The CTA is specifically recruiting for revenue equipment network administrators, revenue systems administrators, revenue systems engineers, revenue testing technicians, bus revenue equipment field technicians, IT project managers and IT change management professionals.

Information technology professionals attending the event will receive information on employment positions available. There will also be question and answer sessions and an opportunity to network with city and county representatives. Attendees are encouraged to bring a resume, which will be copied and distributed, to all participating government agencies.
