CTA is the Convenient and Affordable Way to Get to Chicago Women's March and Weekend Games at United Center

The Chicago Transit Authority will provide additional service to accommodate those attending the 2018 Chicago Women’s March to the Polls event on Saturday, January 20. Participants will assemble at the Columbus and Congress entry of Grant Park.

CTA will also provide extra service for upcoming sports events at the United Center.

2018 Chicago Women’s March to the Polls – Saturday 1/20 at 9 a.m. 

  • Rail: Blue, Brown, Purple, Green and Orange Lines: Longer trains 5 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • Bus: #147 Outer Drive Express: Extra service from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

The following bus routes will be detoured from Friday, 1/19 at 10 p.m. until Saturday, 1/ 20 at 4 p.m.: #6 Jackson Park Express and #J14 Jeffery Jump

The following bus routes will be rerouted on Saturday, 1/20 from 10 a.m. until about 4 p.m.:

Buy your unlimited ride passes and fares in advance
Avoid long lines to buy fares! Customers can add  unlimited ride passes (1-day, 3-day, 7-day and 30-day) or add money to pay per-ride to their Ventra cards ahead of time via the free Ventra app, at rail station Ventra vending machines, online or at more than 1,000 local retailers (for locations visit ventrachicago.com or the Ventra app).

Customers can also purchase from Ventra vending machines 1-day unlimited ride tickets ($10) or single-ride tickets ($3) that include up to two transfers in two hours. Customers can also pay their fares with their personal contactless debit or credit cards.
