Service:
- Rail: Take the Green Line and exit at the new Damen station or exit at the Ashland station from either a Green or Pink line train. Take the Blue Line and exit at the Illinois Medical District station (Damen entry/exit).
- Bus: Several CTA routes will provide the closest service to the event including the following:

- #20 Madison
- #50 Damen

Soldier Field
- Kanye West – Fri. 9/4 at 8 p.m.
- Inter Miami CF vs. Chicago Fire – Wed. 9/9 at 7:30 p.m.
Service:
- Rail: The Red, Orange and Green lines provide the closest access to Soldier Field. Exit at Roosevelt station.
- Bus: Service on the #146 Inner Lake Shore/Michigan Express route.
Wrigley Field
- Brewers vs. Cubs – Thu. 9/3 at 6:15 p.m.
- Big Ten vs. SEC Volleyball – Sun. 9/6 at 6:00 p.m.
Service:
- Red Line: The Addison station is located just a half-block east of Wrigley Field.
- Purple Line: Before weekday night games/events, Loop-bound Purple Line Express trains will stop at the Sheridan station.
- NEW FOR 2026: Linden-bound Purple Line Express trains will stop at Sheridan for all weekday Cubs day games. Exit the Budweiser Bleacher Gate and walk 2.5-blocks north to Sheridan for trains to Howard and Linden. (More details)
- Yellow Line: Take the Yellow Line and transfer at Howard to the Red Line; continue to Addison station. For all night games at Wrigley Field, Skokie-bound trains will run an hour later on the Yellow Line from Howard – until midnight – to accommodate fans returning home. (More details)
- #152 Addison: The #152 route will provide additional service, with more frequent service two hours before and one hour after all games/events.

Rate Field
- Twins vs. White Sox – Fri. 9/4 at 6:40 p.m., Sat. 9/5 at 6:10 p.m. and Sun. 9/6 at

- Pirates vs. White Sox – Tue. 9/8 and Wed. 9/9 at 6:40 p.m.
Service:
- Rail: Rate Field is just one block west of the Sox-35th station.
- Green Line: The 35th-Bronzeville-IIT station is just three blocks east of the ballpark.
- #35 31st/35th: The #35 route (which connects with Orange and Green lines) is the main bus route providing service to the stadium and operates during all game times.
- Adjacent bus routes: Several CTA bus routes serve the ballpark area, including:
- #1 Bronzeville/Union Station (during Monday – Friday rush periods only)
- #4 Cottage Grove
- #24 Wentworth (which runs Monday – Friday to 8:30 p.m.)
- #29 State
- #31 31st (which runs Monday – Friday to 7 p.m.)
- #39 Pershing (which connects with Orange and Green lines)
- #44 Wallace/Racine

Navy Pier Fireworks (Final Show)
Service on the #29 State, #65 Grand, #66 Chicago and #124 Navy Pier routes.
Planned Work to Temporarily Affect Blue and Yellow Line Service
Blue Line
- Crews will perform work to remove slow zones along the O’Hare branch two nights next week:
- From 10 p.m. Wednesday, Sep. 9 until 4 a.m. Thursday, Sep. 10, customers must board and exit all trains from the Forest Park-bound side of the platform at the Cumberland and Rosemont stations.
- From 10 p.m. Thursday, Sep. 10 until 4 a.m. Friday, Sep. 11, customers must board and exit all trains from the O’Hare-bound side of the platform at the Rosemont and Cumberland stations.
- Trains traveling in both directions will share the same track between Harlem (O’Hare branch) and O’Hare, resulting in minor delays. Customers should allow extra travel time.
- This work is funded via the Northern Illinois Transit Authority (NITA) Act
Yellow Line
- Shuttle buses will replace Yellow Line rail service between the Dempster-Skokie and Howard stations from 6 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, and Sunday, Sept. 13.
- Shuttle buses will serve the Dempster-Skokie, Oakton-Skokie and Howard stations. Customers should allow extra travel time.
- The temporary service change is necessary while crews perform railroad-grade crossing maintenance at Crawford Avenue to provide a safer, smoother commute. This work is funded through the NITA Act.
