CTA's Roosevelt 'L' stations on the Red, Green and Orange Lines are within easy walking distance of Soldier Field via Roosevelt and the Museum Campus in Grant Park, which is just north of Soldier Field.

Soldier Field can also be reached by taking #12 Roosevelt buses, which operate east on Roosevelt from the western city limits to McFetridge Drive at the north end of the field. #146 Marine-Michigan buses serve Soldier Field from North Michigan Avenue and State Street downtown, while #6 Jeffery Express buses from the South Side stop nearby on Columbus at Roosevelt.

Before the game, #12 Roosevelt shuttle buses will supplement regular service to Soldier Field from the subway-'L' stations on Roosevelt. After the game, extra buses on the #12 Roosevelt route will provide return service from McFetridge Drive back to the Roosevelt stations.

After the game also, extra buses on the #146 route will take riders to State Street downtown, while other #146 buses will operate over the regular evening route via State, North Michigan, inner Lake Shore, Stockton, Sheridan and Marine Drive to the Berwyn Red Line 'L' station. #6 Jeffery Express buses continue to stop southbound on Columbus at Roosevelt until about 10:40 p.m.
