CTA ADDS EXTRA SERVICE TO NAVY PIER AND THE MUSEUM OF SCIENCE & INDUSTRY

CTA customers traveling to the Museum of Science & Industry and Navy Pier will be able to take advantage of daily service on the #10 Museum of Science & Industry bus route and weekend service on the #124 Navy Pier Express route, starting on Memorial Day weekend and continuing through Labor Day, Monday, September 2.

Beginning Friday, May 24, #124 buses will provide express service to Navy Pier from Union Station and the Ogilvie Transportation Center (North Western Station) from 6:30 p.m. until midnight on Fridays; from 10 a.m. to midnight on Saturdays, and from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Sundays and holidays.

#124 buses will operate every 15 minutes, stopping northbound on Canal at Adams for Union Station and on Canal at both Madison and Washington for the Ogilvie Center before running express to Navy Pier. The last trip from Navy Pier will be at midnight Fridays and Saturdays, and at 10 p.m. on Sundays and holidays.

Navy Pier is also served daily by buses on the #29 State, #56 Milwaukee, the #65 Grand and #66 Chicago routes.

#10 buses run year-round on weekends and holidays except Christmas Day, and on weekdays during the summer and from Thanksgiving through New Year's. Weekday service will begin Tuesday, May 28, with the first #10 bus leaving Michigan southbound at Delaware at about 8:57 a.m., and the last bus leaving the Museum of Science and Industry at 5:40 p.m. Buses operate every 15 to 20 minutes on weekends and every 30 minutes on weekdays.

Southbound on Michigan #10 buses make all regular stops from Delaware to Randolph before heading west to State and south to Congress. After returning to Michigan at Congress, the buses enter Grant Park at Balbo, stopping on Columbus at Roosevelt for the Museum Campus before running express to the Museum of Science & Industry at 57th.
