CTA's monthly television program, Connections, is broadcast on the City of Chicago's municipal cable channels (channels 23 & 49), as well as Comcast channels throughout the suburban service area.
A new program airs each month, taking viewers on a trip using the CTA's public transit system. Each episode of Connections starts at a place of interest served by the CTA. From one location to the next, viewers see neighborhoods and attractions and how CTA service helps them get to where they are going. Each new episode picks up at the last stop of the previous episode.
In Chicago, Connections is shown on cable channel 49 at 9 p.m. and 12 a.m. every day.
It also is shown twice daily on cable channel 23 on a rotating schedule with other city programs in the 8-9 a.m., 1-2 p.m., 7-8 p.m. and 10-11 p.m. time slots.
In addition, Connections airs on most Comcast suburban systems on the public access or local origination channel at:
- Tuesdays at 8:30 p.m.,
- Wednesdays at 4:00 p.m.,
- Fridays at 4:30 p.m. and
- Saturdays at 7:00 p.m.
The only exception is the Oak Lawn system which airs Connections on Mondays at 5:30 p.m.
