The Chicago Transit Authority's Sales Center isrelocating to 567 West Lake Street and will be open for customer business at that location starting October 4. CTA's Sales Center, currently located at the Merchandise Mart, will be open to customers at the new location starting Monday morning, October 4 at 8 a.m.
The same services available at CTA's headquarters at the Merchandise Mart will be available at the Lake Street address such as purchase of CTA farecards, including Transit Cards, Chicago Cards, multi-day passes, reduced farecards and Taxi Access Program (TAP) Vouchers. In addition, customers will continue to be able to resolve service-related issues and obtain free maps and schedules at the new location. As an added convenience for customers, the Sales Center also has an automated farecard vending machine so customers can add value to their farecards on site.
The Lake Street location is conveniently served by both CTA bus and rail. Customers may take the Green Line to the Clinton station or take one of several CTA bus routes: the #14 Jeffery Express, #20 Madison, #56 Milwaukee, #125 Water Tower Express and the #127 NW/Madison. The building is also very near the Ogilvie Transportation Center and all bus routes serving Ogilvie.
