CTA buses and trains are reliable transportation options for concerts, sporting events and the beach; customers should plan ahead for anticipated Red and Blue Line weekend maintenance.
Travel on CTA this weekend and avoid the traffic and parking hassles as crowds gather across the city for the Chicago Blues Festival, Pokémon GO Fest and the official start of weekday beach bus service. Customers can save money by purchasing an unlimited rides pass, either the 1-Day ($5) – far more economical and convenient than the price of gas and parking - or the 3-Day ($15) pass – a real budget-saving move.
