Effective with the start of service on Monday, January 17, a new bus stop will be added and adjustments will be made to two reroutes in an effort to further improve traffic flow and for customer safety during Wacker Drive construction.
These changes in service will affect westbound #120 Ogilvie/Wacker Express, #121 Union/Wacker Express and #122 Illinois Center/Ogilvie Express buses.
#120 Ogilvie/Wacker Express – Westbound
Westbound #120 buses will travel over the regular route along Grand past Michigan to Wabash then will operate via Wabash, Wacker Drive, Franklin, Madison to Canal before beginning eastbound service. Eastbound #120 buses are not affected and will continue to operate over the original reroute.
New Bus Stop
- Franklin/Randolph: westbound buses will begin serving the new near side stop.
#121 Union/Wacker Express – Westbound
Westbound #121 buses will operate over the regular route along Grand past Michigan to Wabash then will travel via Wabash, Wacker Drive, Franklin to Adams and then resume the regular route west of Wacker Drive. Eastbound #121 buses are not affected and will travel over the regular route.
#122 Illinois Center/Ogilvie Express – Westbound
There are no new changes in routing for westbound or eastbound #122 buses.
New Bus Stop
- Franklin/Randolph: westbound buses will begin serving the new near side stop.
A total of 13 routes are impacted by Wacker Drive construction. During the construction, customers traveling on affected routes are encouraged to allow extra travel time.
