Cubs visit the White Sox for Second Round in Interleague Play
The Chicago Transit Authority provides convenient and affordable bus and train service for baseball fans heading to the South Side for the Cubs vs. Sox series at U.S. Cellular Field. The games will be held on Monday, June 18, Tuesday, June 19 and Wednesday, June 20. Game time is 7:10 p.m. for all three games.
CTA staff will greet customers at the Red Line Sox-35th station prior to each game and distribute commemorative 2012 Crosstown Series posters to customers who use the Red Line to get to the game. Posters will be handed out starting approximately 90-minutes prior to the first pitch of each game while supplies last.
Since the program began in 1998, the commemorative posters and farecards designed by Chicago artist Steve Musgrave have become a one-of-a-kind collectible item for fans. Musgrave also has several murals featuring Cubs legends on display at the Addison station, which he adopted as part of the CTA's Adopt-A-Station program in 1998.
