Due to temporary street closures for weekend neighborhood events, the following CTA bus routes will undergo reroutes:
#11 Lincoln and #49B North Western
From 9 p.m. Friday, September 5 until 11 p.m. Sunday, September 7, Leland will be closed between Lincoln and Western for the German American Festival.
Southbound #11 Lincoln buses will travel over the regular route to Western and Leland then will operate via Western, Montrose to Lincoln and then resume the regular route. Northbound buses will travel the reverse route.
Southbound #49B North Western buses will travel over the regular route to Western and Leland then will operate via Western, Montrose, Lincoln, Wilson to Western and then resume the regular route. Northbound buses will travel the reverse route.
#60 Blue Island/26th
From 4 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Saturday, September 6, Harrison at Canal will be closed.
Eastbound #60 buses will travel over the regular route to Harrison/Jefferson then will operate via Jefferson, Jackson to Canal and resume the regular route.
#79 79th
From 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. 79th Street from Racine to Loomis will be closed for the 3rd Annual Auburn Gresham 79th Street Renaissance Festival.
Westbound 79 79th buses will travel over the regular route to Racine then will operate via Racine, 76th, Loomis then return to 79th and resume the regular route. Eastbound buses will travel the reverse route.
