Be a Friend to Trees and Take CTA in Observance of Arbor Day This Weekend

April 25, 2024

Riding CTA’s trains and buses are more than just affordable and convenient way to get to various sporting events, concerts, and more festivities across Chicago – they’re also good for the environment!

Taking public transit is a valuable tool against climate change, and choosing the CTA over other modes of transportation could be the equivalent of planting 1,100 trees. In honor of Arbor Day, Friday, April 26, let CTA be your ride to all your appointments and events around Chicagoland.

Riders can also save money by purchasing an unlimited rides pass, either the 1-Day ($5) – far more economical and convenient than the price of gas and parking - or the 3-Day ($15) pass – a real budget-saving move.
