AT&T will be conducting cutover work at 802, 812, 822 West Belmont Avenue. During work hours AT&T customers within the limits listed above may experience a 10 minute service interruption. Should an AT&T customer experience a service interruption, it will be a one-time impact and the customer will not experience any other impacts for the remainder of the work. Download Document

Red-Purple Bypass- Equipment staging and drill shaft foundation installation on CTA owned property along the 3200 block of N. Wilton 10/28/2019

The contractor, Walsh|Fluor will be staging equipment and will be conducting drill shaft foundation installation on the CTA owned property along the 3200 block of N. Wilton Avenue, from Belmont Avenue to School Street. During work hours there will be various forms of noise general construction noise, truck traffic, and beeping from backup alarms on construction equipment and vehicles. CTA ANNOUNCES CONSTRUCTION OF RED AND PURPLE MODERNIZATION (RPM) PROJECT BEGINS THIS FALL 07/31/2019

The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) announced today that construction for the Red-Purple Bypass is set to begin this fall. The bypass is a major component of Phase One of CTA’s Red Purple Modernization (RPM) program, which will also rebuild the century-old rail structure between the Lawrence and Bryn Mawr stations. Work performed as part of RPM Phase One will make commuting better for all CTA riders with improved service and modern, fully accessible stations.
