Anti-War March Affects 10 CTA Bus Routes Operating in the Downtown Area Saturday Afternoon

From 1 p.m. until approximately 3:30 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 10 CTA bus routes may experience delays in service due to the Midwest Regional Mobilization to End the War March. Participants in the march will proceed north on Michigan Avenue from Van Buren to Chicago.
 
Routes that may be affected by this event are the #3 King Drive, #4 Cottage Grove, #6 Jackson Park Express, #10 Museum of Science & Industry, #66 Chicago, #126 Jackson, #145 Wilson/Michigan Express, #146 Inner Drive/Michigan Express, #147 Outer Drive Express and #151 Sheridan.
 
Customers are advised to allow extra travel time.
 
In the event Michigan Avenue becomes blocked, the following reroutes will go into effect to maintain bus service in the downtown area:
 
#3 King Drive
Northbound #3 buses will travel over the regular route along Michigan to Harrison then will operate via Harrison, State, Wacker, Dearborn, Illinois, Fairbanks to Erie before turning to begin southbound service. From the terminal at Erie/Fairbanks, southbound #3 buses will travel via Fairbanks, Grand, Clark, Ohio to Michigan and then resume the regular route.
 
#4 Cottage Grove
Northbound #4 buses will operate over the regular route along Michigan to Harrison then will travel via Harrison, State to Wacker before beginning southbound service. From Wacker/State, southbound #4 buses will continue east on Wacker to Michigan and then resume the regular route.
 
#6 Jackson Park Express
Northbound #6 buses will travel over the regular route along Balbo past Michigan to State then will operate via State, Randolph, Dearborn to Wacker before beginning southbound service. From Dearborn/Wacker, southbound #6 buses will travel east on Wacker to State and then resume the regular route.
  
#10 Museum of Science & Industry
Northbound #10 buses will operate over the regular route along State to Wacker then will travel via Wacker, Dearborn, Illinois, Fairbanks, Chicago to Mies Van der Rohe and then resume the regular route. Southbound #10 buses are not affected and will travel over the regular route.
 
#66 Chicago
Eastbound #66 buses will operate over the regular route along Chicago to Clark then will travel via Clark to Illinois and then resume the regular route past Fairbanks. Westbound #66 buses will operate over the regular route along Grand past Fairbanks to Dearborn then will travel via Dearborn to Chicago and then resume the regular route.
 
#145 Wilson/Michigan Express, #146 Inner Drive/Michigan Express, #147 Outer Drive/Michigan Express and #151 Sheridan
Southbound #145, #146, #147 and #151 buses will travel over their regular routes along Inner Lake Shore Drive to Oak then will operate via Oak, State, Ohio to Michigan and then resume their regular routes.
 
Northbound #145, #146 and #147 buses will travel over their regular routes along State to Wacker then will operate via Wacker, north on LaSalle past North Avenue to LaSalle Drive then turn onto Lake Shore Drive and resume their regular routes.
 
Northbound #151 buses will operate over the regular route along State to Wacker then will travel via Wacker, north on LaSalle past North Avenue to LaSalle Drive then turn onto Stockton and resume the regular route.
