Additional Events Affecting CTA Service the Weekend of November 7-9

Three CTA Bus Routes Temporarily Detoured at Washington and Clark This Weekend

From 9 p.m. Friday, November 7 to 4 a.m. Monday, November 10, Clark Street at Washington will be closed to all traffic due to a scheduled crane lift. And on Saturday, November 8 from 1 a.m. to 2 a.m., Washington Street at Clark will be closed to all traffic.

During this time, eastbound #20 Madison and #56 Milwaukee buses will operate over the regular route along Washington to LaSalle then will travel via LaSalle, Monroe, Dearborn to Washington and then resume the regular route. Westbound service is not affected.

Southbound #22 Clark buses will travel over the regular route along Clark to Wacker then will operate via Wacker, State, Madison to Clark and then resume the regular route. Northbound service is not affected.

Helicopter Lift Temporarily Detours Three CTA Bus Routes Sunday Morning

On Sunday, November 9 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., Wacker Drive will be closed between Randolph and Madison, and Washington Street will be closed between Canal and Clark due to a helicopter lift.

Eastbound #20 Madison and #56 Milwaukee buses will operate over the regular route along Washington to Clinton then will travel via Clinton, Monroe, Dearborn, Washington to State and then resume the regular route. Westbound service is not affected.

Eastbound #124 Navy Pier buses will travel along the regular route along Canal to Monroe then will operate via Monroe, State to Washington and then resume the regular route.

Westbound #124 buses will operate over the regular route along Madison to State then will travel via State, Adams to Clinton and then resume the regular route.
