Sewer Repair Work Reroutes #95E 93rd/95th and #N5 South Shore Night Buses
Due to sewer construction work, 93rd Street between Muskegon and Escanaba/Anthony/Exchange will be closed to all traffic until 4 p.m. Friday, July 10.
Eastbound #95E 93rd/95th and northbound #N5 South Shore Night buses will travel over their regular routes along 93rd Street to Colfax then will operate via Colfax, 95th Street, Escanaba to 93rd Street/Anthony/Exchange and then will travel northeast on Exchange over their regular routes.
Westbound #95E and southbound #N5 buses will travel the reverse route.
Buses Rerouted for the Alivio Y Salud Run and Walk on Saturday
From 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 18th Street between Newberry and Wolcott, and Damen between 18th and 19th will be closed to all traffic due to the Alivio Y Salud Run and Walk. During this time, five CTA bus routes will be detoured.
Northbound #9 Ashland buses will operate over the regular route along Ashland to the Orange Line then will head south on Ashland to Archer then will travel via Archer, Halsted, Roosevelt and return to Ashland and then resume the regular northbound route. Southbound #9 buses will travel the reverse route.
Eastbound #18 16th/18th buses will travel over the regular route along 18th Street to Damen then will operate via Damen, Roosevelt, Ashland to 18th Street and then resume the regular route. Westbound #18 buses will travel the reverse route.
Eastbound #21 Cermak buses will operate over the regular route along Cermak to Western then will travel via Western, Roosevelt, Halsted to Cermak and then resume the regular route. Westbound #21 buses will travel the reverse route.
Northbound #50 Damen buses will depart from the Orange Line Terminal at 35th/Archer and travel southwest on Archer to Western then will operate via Western, Roosevelt to Damen and then resume the regular route. Southbound #50 buses will travel the reverse route.
Eastbound #60 Blue Island/26th buses will operate over the regular route along Blue Island to Western then will travel via Western, Roosevelt to Racine and then resume the regular route. Westbound #60 buses will travel the reverse route.
Helicopter Lift Near State and Monroe Detours 10 Routes Sunday Morning
Monroe Street between Wabash and Dearborn, and State Street between Adams and Madison will be closed from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Sunday, May 31, due to a helicopter lift.
Southbound #6 Jackson Park Express, #36 Broadway and #62 Archer buses will travel over their regular routes along State to Randolph then will operate via Randolph, LaSalle, Jackson to State and then resume their regular routes. Northbound #6, #36 and #62 buses are not affected and will operate over their regular routes.
Southbound #10 Museum of Science & Industry, #29 State and #146 Inner Drive/Michigan Express buses will operate over their regular routes along State to Randolph then will travel via Randolph, LaSalle, Jackson to State and then resume their regular routes.
Northbound #10, #29 and #146 buses will travel over their regular routes along State to Adams then will operate via Adams, Dearborn, Washington to State and then resume their regular routes.
Southbound #14 Jeffery Express buses will operate over the regular route along Monroe to Clark then will travel via Clark, Jackson to Michigan and then resume the regular route. Northbound #14 buses are not affected and will travel over the regular route.
Northbound #145 Wilson/Michigan Express buses will travel over the regular route along State to Adams then will operate via Adams, Dearborn, Washington to State and then resume the regular route. Southbound #145 buses will travel over the regular route.
Northbound #147 Outer Drive Express and #151 Sheridan buses will operate over their regular routes along State to Adams then will travel via Adams, Dearborn to Washington and then resume the regular route. Southbound #147 and #151 buses will travel their regular routes.
