UPDATE: Streets will reopen on Monday morning at 5 a.m. All CTA buses will return to their regular routes on Monday morning.
Twelve CTA bus routes will undergo temporary reroutes from 9:30 a.m. until approximately 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 24 for the Disability Pride Parade. The parade steps off at 11 a.m. and will proceed north on Van Buren to Daley Plaza.
Customers are advised to allow extra travel time. The affected routes are:
Northbound #14 Jeffery Express, #56 Milwaukee and westbound #20 Madison and #124 Navy Pier – buses will travel over the regular route to Madison/State then will operate via State, Randolph, Clark to Madison and then resume the regular route.
Southbound #14 Jeffery Express - buses will travel over the regular route to Monroe/LaSalle then will operate via LaSalle, Wacker, State to Monroe and then resume the regular route.
Eastbound #20 Madison and #60 Blue Island/26th and southbound #56 Milwaukee – buses will travel over the regular route to Washington/LaSalle then will operate via LaSalle, Wacker, State to Washington and then resume the regular route. Eastbound #124 Navy Pier buses are not impacted and will travel over the regular route.
Westbound #60 Blue Island/26th buses will travel over the regular route to Randolph/Michigan then will continue on Randolph and operate via Randolph, Clark to Madison and then resume the regular route.
Northbound #22 Clark, #36 Broadway and #62 Archer – buses will travel over the regular route to Dearborn/Congress and then will operate via Congress, State, Randolph to Dearborn and then resume the regular route. Southbound #22, #36 and #62 buses are not impacted and will travel over the regular route.
Eastbound #126 Jackson – buses will travel over the regular route to Jackson/LaSalle then will operate via LaSalle, Wacker, State to Jackson and then resume the regular route.
Westbound buses will travel over the regular route to Adams/State then will operate via State, Wacker, Clark to Adams and then resume the regular route.
Northbound #130 Museum Campus – buses will travel over the regular route to State/Adams then will continue north on State and operate via State, Randolph, Clark to Adams and then resume the regular route.
Southbound buses will travel over the regular route to Jackson/LaSalle then will operate via LaSalle, Wacker to State and then will resume the regular route.
Southbound #145 Wilson/Michigan Express – buses will travel over the regular route to State/Van Buren then will continue along state and operate via State, Polk, Clark to Harrison and wait at Harrison before beginning the return trip north.
Northbound buses will leave from Harrison and will operate over the regular route.
Northbound #151 Sheridan – buses will travel over the regular route to Jackson/LaSalle then will operate via LaSalle, Wacker, State to Washington and then resume the regular route.
Southbound buses will travel over the regular route to Adams/State then w ill operate via State, Randolph, Clark to Adams and then resume the regular route.
