Hop on the CTA and Bear Down on 2026

 CTA’s trains and buses will get you to various sporting events and the highly anticipated Bears and Packers playoff game at Soldier Field; Construction work to temporarily impact the Green Line

Save money for your trip to the Super Bowl by taking the CTA -- the best and most affordable option for getting to work, school, appointments and other destinations. Customers can save money by purchasing an unlimited rides pass, either the 1-Day ($5) – far more economical and convenient than the price of gas and parking - or the 3-Day ($15) pass – a real budget-saving move.

Service for Upcoming Events

Soldier Field

  • Green Bay Packers vs. Chicago Bears – Sat. 1/10 at 7 p.m.

Service:

  • Rail: The Red, Orange and Green lines provide the closest access to Soldier Field. Exit at the Roosevelt station.
  • Bus: Service on the #128 Soldier Field Express and #146 Inner Lake Shore/Michigan Express routes.

United Center Events

  • Miami Heat vs. Chicago Bulls – Thu. 1/8 at 7 p.m.
  • Washington Capitals vs. Chicago Blackhawks – Fri. 1/9 at 7 p.m.
  • Dallas Mavericks vs. Chicago Bulls – Sat. 1/10 at 7 p.m.
  • Edmonton Oilers vs. Chicago Blackhawks – Mon. 1/12 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Utah Jazz vs. Chicago Bulls – Wed. 1/14 at 7 p.m.

Service:

  • Rail: Take the Green Line and exit at the new Damen station or exit at the Ashland station from either a Green or Pink line train.
  • Get to and from these events via the #20 Madison and #50 Damen bus routes. Customers can also take the #19 United Center Express route post event.

Weekend Work to Temporarily Impact Green Line Service

  • Between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Sat. 1/10, customers will board/exit all trains Ashland/63rd and Cottage Grove-bound platform at the Damen and California stations. (More details)
  • Trains will operate on the same track in both directions between Ashland and Kedzie, resulting in minor delays.
  • This service change is due to track maintenance work to ensure that trains continue to operate safely along the Green Line.
