CTA’s trains and buses are the best ways to get to various sporting events and concerts; Weekend construction work to impact the Brown Line
Travel on CTA to get to school, work and all your appointments. Customers can save money by purchasing an unlimited rides pass, either the 1-Day ($5) – far more economical and convenient than the price of gas and parking - or the 3-Day ($15) pass – a real budget-saving move.

United Center Events
- Maroon 5 – Thu. 11/13 at 8 p.m.
- Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Chicago Blackhawks – Sat. 11/15 at 6 p.m.
- Calgary Flames vs. Chicago Blackhawks – Tue. 11/18 at 7:30 p.m.
- College Basketball: Alabama vs. Illinois – Wed. 11/19 at 8 p.m.
Service:
- Rail: Take the Green Line and exit at the new Damen station or exit at the Ashland station from either a Green or Pink line train.
- Get to and from these events via the #20 Madison and #50 Damen bus routes. Customers can also take the #19 United Center Express route post event.
Wrigley Field
- College Football: Northwestern Wildcats vs. Michigan Wolverines – Sat. 11/15 at 11 a.m.
Service:
- Red Line: The Addison station is located just a half block east of Wrigley Field.
- Yellow Line: Take the Yellow Line and transfer at Howard to the Red Line; continue to Addison station.
- #152 Addison: The #152 route will provide additional service on major event days, with more frequent service two hours before and one hour after all games.
- Adjacent bus routes: Several CTA bus routes serve the Wrigley Field area, including:
- #8 Halsted
- #22 Clark
- #36 Broadway
- #80 Irving Park
- #151 Sheridan

Weekend Work to Temporarily Impact Brown Line Service
- Between 10 p.m., Fri., 11/14, and 4 a.m., Mon., 11/17, Kimball-bound Brown Line trains will not stop at the Western stations. (More details)
- For Kimball-bound service from this station, take a Loop-bound train to Damen and transfer to a Kimball-bound train.
- For Kimball-bound service to this station, take a Kimball-bound train to Rockwell and transfer to a Loop-bound train.
- Note: During this time, for accessible service, board either at the Rockwell or Damen stations.
- This service change is due to improvements being made at the Western Brown Line station.
