The annual Cinco de Mayo parade in Chicago may be cancelled, but CTA is still your trusted amigo to get you across town to games and gatherings in the safest, most convenient and affordable way possible. Customers can save money by purchasing an unlimited rides pass, either the 1-Day ($5) – far more economical and convenient than the price of gas and parking - or the 3-Day ($15) pass – a real budget-saving move.

Columbus Drive, between Balbo Drive and Monroe Street – Sat. 5/3 11:30 a.m.
Service:
- Rail: All rail lines downtown will get you access to the race area.
- Loop Elevated: Exit at either Washington/Wabash or Adams/Wabash
- Red and Blue Lines: Exit at Jackson and walk a couple blocks east
- Bus: Several CTA bus routes in the area will be rerouted, including the following:

Michigan Ave. from Superior St. to Chicago Ave. and west on Chicago Ave. to Clark St. – Sun. 5/4 at 8 a.m.
Service:
- Rail: Take the Red Line and exit at the Grand or Chicago stations.

Rate Field:
- Milwaukee Brewers vs. White Sox – Thu. 5/1 at 1:10 p.m.
- Houston Astros vs. White Sox – Fri. 5/2 at 6:40 p.m., Sat. 5/3 and Sun. 5/4 at 1:10 p.m.
Service:
- Red Line: Rate Field is just one block west of the Sox-35th station.
- Green Line: The 35th-Bronzeville-IIT station is just three blocks east of the ballpark.
- #35 31st/35th: The #35 route (which connects with Orange and Green lines) is the main bus route providing service to the stadium and operates during all game times.
- Adjacent bus routes: Several CTA bus routes serve the ballpark area, including:
- #1 Bronzeville/Union Station (during Monday – Friday rush periods only)
- #4 Cottage Grove
- #24 Wentworth (which runs Monday – Friday to 8:30 p.m.)
- #29 State
- #31 31st (which runs Monday – Friday to 7 p.m.)
- #39 Pershing (which connects with Orange and Green lines)
- #44 Wallace/Racine

Service on the #146 Inner Lake Shore/Michigan Express route
- Orlando City SC vs. Chicago Fire FC – Sat. 4/3 at 7:30 p.m.
Wrigley Field
- San Francisco Giants vs. Chicago Cubs – Mon. 5/5 and Tue. 5/6 at 6:40 p.m., Wed. 5/7 at 1:20 p.m.
Service:
- Red Line: The Addison station is located just a half block east of Wrigley Field.
- Purple Line: Before weeknight events only, Loop-bound Purple Line Express trains will stop at the Sheridan station.
- Yellow Line: Take the Yellow Line and transfer at Howard to the Red Line; continue to Addison station. To accommodate fans returning home, the Yellow Line will run for an hour later from Howard – until midnight – for all night games at Wrigley Field.
- #152 Addison: The #152 route will provide additional service on Cubs game days, with more frequent service two hours before and one hour after all games.
- Adjacent bus routes: Several CTA bus routes serve the Wrigley Field area, including:
- #8 Halsted
- #22 Clark
- #36 Broadway
- #80 Irving Park
- #151 Sheridan

Weekend Work to Temporarily Impact Green Line Service
- Between 4:30 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Sat. 5/3 rail service on the Green Line between Garfield and Ashland/63rd stations will be temporarily suspended. (More details)
- Green Line trains will operate between Harlem/Lake and Cottage Grove only. Connect between Green Line trains and shuttle buses at Garfield station.
- Shuttle buses replace rail service between Garfield and Ashland/63rd stations.
- Additionally, shuttle buses will make connections with Red Line trains at the 63rd station.
- This service change is due to track maintenance work to ensure that trains continue to operate safely along the Green Line.
Weekend Work to Temporarily Impact Blue Line Service
- Between 8 a.m. on Fri. 5/2 and 4 a.m. on Saturday 5/3, Blue Line trains in both directions will operate on the same track between O’Hare and Cumberland. (More details)
- Customers will board/exit all trains on the O'Hare-bound side of the platform at the Rosemont station.
- This service change is due to track maintenance work to ensure that trains continue to operate safely along the Blue Line.
Weekend Work to Temporarily Impact Blue Line Service
- Between 9 p.m. on Sat. 5/3 and 9 a.m. on Sun. 5/4, Blue Line trains in both directions will operate on the same track between Clark/Lake and Damen. (More details)

- This service change is due to track maintenance work to ensure that trains continue to operate safely along the Blue Line.
