Yellow Line Service Temporarily Interrupted on Friday and Saturday

June 10, 2009

Yellow Line service will be suspended on Friday, June 12 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and all morning Saturday, June 13 until 1 p.m. due to activities related to the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) annual rail conference.

The CTA will operate a non-stop shuttle between the Yellow Line’s Dempster and the Red Line’s Howard stations. Customers also can use the #97 Skokie bus service as a substitute for Yellow Line service.

Customers will be able to transfer to Purple and Red Line trains at the Howard station.
