With Completion of the Jackson Viaduct Project Buses Return to Regular Routing

March 30, 2010

Reroutes end with the start of service on Thursday, April 1

On Thursday, April 1, the Jackson Boulevard viaduct between Canal and Wacker will reopen following the completion of renovation work to the viaduct, bridge and sidewalk. As a result of the bridge re-opening, 10 CTA bus routes will return to their previous routing and several bus stops that were temporarily relocated or eliminated will be restored to their original locations. The reroutes and bus stop changes have been in place since June 2009.

Beginning today through the remainder of the week, CTA personnel will be deployed during rush periods to provide information to customers.

#7 Harrison
#130 Museum Campus
#X28 Stony Island Express
