Jackson Blvd. viaduct and bridge bus reroutes ended April 1

On Thursday, April 1, 2010, the City of Chicago reopened Jackson Blvd. between Canal Street and Wacker Drive following the renovation of the viaduct over Union Station’s south passenger platforms and tracks, and the repair of the Jackson Blvd. bridge and sidewalk.
As a result, beginning April 1, all buses that traveled east over the Jackson Blvd. viaduct and bridge prior to being rerouted in June 2009 for the reconstruction work resumed using the Jackson Blvd. bridge. In addition, the southbound reverse-flow lane on Canal Street will be restored and boarding for certain routes at the bus stop on the west side of Canal in front of Union Station will resume.
Effective Thursday, April 1, 2010, the following 10 bus routes will were rerouted back, with boarding locations at Union Station changed for most routes:
