Boarding Change, Delays Between Damen and Clark/Lake

How does this affect my trip?
Board/exit all trains on the O’Hare-bound side of the platform at the Division, Chicago, and Grand stations.
 
Trains in both directions will operate on the same track between Damen and Clark/Lake, resulting in minor delays.

Allow extra travel time.

Why is service being changed?
We are performing maintenance in the Dearborn Subway to ensure that trains continue to operate safely along the Blue Line.

Boarding Change, Delays Between Armitage and Merchandise Mart

How does this affect my trip?
6am to 12 noon:
Board/exit all trains on the Kimball-bound platform at the Sedgwick and Chicago stations.

12 noon to 6pm: Board/exit all trains on the Loop-bound platform at the Chicago and Sedgwick stations.

Trains in both directions will operate on the same track between Armitage and Merchandise Mart, resulting in minor delays.

Allow extra travel time.

Why is service being changed?
We are making structure improvements to remove slow zones and to improve rail service on the Brown Line as part of the Ravenswood Connector Rehabilitation Project.

Bus Substitution Between Roosevelt and 35th-Bronzeville-IIT Stations

How does this affect my trip?
Shuttle buses replace rail service between Roosevelt and 35th-Bronzeville-IIT.

Trains operate between Harlem/Lake, Downtown and Roosevelt, and between 35th-Bronzeville-IIT, Ashland/63rd and Cottage Grove.

Rail-Shuttle Transfers: Free transfer between shuttle buses and rail service is only available at Roosevelt and 35th-Bronzeville-IIT, and requires the farecard used to pay your fare at the start of your trip.
 
Allow extra travel time.

Why is service being changed?
Service is affected due to the construction of the new Cermak-McCormick Place station.

How does this affect my trip? 
Board/exit all trains on the 95th-bound side of the platform at the 63rd station.

Allow extra travel time.
 
Why is service being changed?
Service is being affected due to Metra’s Englewood Flyover Project.

Boarding Change, Delays Between Grand and Cermak-Chinatown

How does this affect my trip?
Board/exit all trains on the Howard-bound side of the platform at the Lake, Monroe, Jackson, Harrison, and Roosevelt stations.

Trains in both directions will operate on the same track between Grand and Cermak-Chinatown, resulting in minor delays.

Allow extra travel time.

Why is service being changed?
We are performing maintenance work to ensure that trains continue to operate safely along the Red Line.

How does this affect my trip?
Southbound #52
and #52A buses will operate via Kedzie, 55th, California, and 59th, then resume their normal route on Kedzie.

Northbound buses are not affected.

Allow extra travel time.

Why is service being changed?
Buses are rerouted due to construction at Kedzie/57th.
 
 
 
#146 Inner Drive/Michigan Express Temporary Reroute

10:30am to 5:30pm or completion
 
How does this affect my trip?
Southbound
buses will operate via Columbus, Lake Shore Drive, 18th, and Museum Campus Drive to McFetridge, then continue their normal route on Museum Campus Drive.
 
Northbound buses will operate via Museum Campus Drive, Waldron Drive, Lake Shore Drive, and Columbus, then resume their normal route on Roosevelt.

Allow extra travel time.

Why is service being changed?
Buses are rerouted due to the Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions football game.
