Boarding Change, Delays Between Racine and Jackson

How does this affect my trip? 
Board/exit all trains on the Forest Park-bound side of the platform at the UIC-Halsted, Clinton, and LaSalle stations.

Note: On Saturday and Sunday, some trips will begin/end at LaSalle station. Listen carefully to train announcements.

Trains in both directions will operate on the same track between Racine and Jackson, resulting in minor delays.

Allow extra travel time.

Why is service being changed?
Service is affected due to construction on the Peoria Street overpass as part of the Illinois Department of Transportation’s Circle Interchange Project.

Boarding Change, Delays Between Irving Park and Logan Square

How does this affect my trip?
Board/exit all trains on the O’Hare-bound side of the platform at the Addison and Belmont stations.
 
Trains in both directions will operate on the same track between Irving Park and Logan Square, resulting in minor delays.

Allow extra travel time.

Why is service being changed?
We are performing maintenance to ensure that trains continue to operate safely along the Blue Line.

Boarding Change, Delays Between Merchandise Mart and Armitage

How does this affect my trip?
Board/exit all trains on the Loop-bound platform at the Chicago and Sedgwick stations.

Trains in both directions will operate on the same track between Merchandise Mart and Armitage, resulting in minor delays.

Allow extra travel time.

Why is service being changed?
We are making structure improvements to remove slow zones and to improve rail service on the Brown Line as part of the Ravenswood Connector Rehabilitation Project.

5am to 8pm 

Trains Rerouted via Subway, Bus Shuttle between Fullerton and Downtown

How does this affect my trip?
Brown Line trains will be rerouted to the Red Line subway between Fullerton and downtown. Board/exit Brown Line trains at any State Street Subway station between North/Clybourn and Roosevelt. Trains will operate normally between Kimball and Fullerton.

For service to/from Armitage, Sedgwick, Chicago and Merchandise Mart stations, free shuttle buses will operate between Fullerton and Clark/Lake, making stops at or near the affected stations.

A shuttle train will operate around the Loop, on the side normally used by the Brown Line, for connections to Brown Line service in the subway and the shuttle buses at Clark/Lake.

Allow extra travel time.

How does this affect my trip?
Board/exit all trains on the Howard-bound side of the platform at the Lake, Monroe, Jackson, Harrison, and Roosevelt stations.
 
Trains in both directions will operate on the same track between Grand and Cermak-Chinatown, resulting in minor delays.
 
Allow extra travel time.

Why is service being changed?
We are performing maintenance work to ensure that trains continue to operate safely along the Red Line.

#49 Western Temporary Reroute

5am, Tue, Feb 24 to 6pm, Tue, March 31 or completion

How does this affect my trip? 
Southbound 
buses will operate via Western, Belmont, California, and Elston, then resume their normal route on Western. 

Northbound buses are not affected. 

Allow extra travel time. 

Why is service being changed? 
Buses are rerouted due to water main work on Western between Belmont and Nelson.  
 
 
 
#63 63rd Bus Stop Restoration

Effective 6am, Tue, Feb 24

How does this affect my trip?
The westbound #63 63rd bus stop on the northwest corner of Yale at 63rd, will be restored to its original location on 63rd Street at Yale (same corner but on 63rd instead of Yale). 

Why is service being changed? 
The bus stop is being restored to improve traffic flow during on-going construction. 
 
 
 
#N77 Belmont (Owl) Temporary Reroute 

8am, Wed, Feb 25 to 4pm, Fri, Mar 27 or completion 

How does this affect my trip?
Eastbound #N77 owl (overnight) buses will operate via Belmont, Clark, Halsted, and Belmont, ending their trips at Belmont/Clark.
 
Westbound buses will begin their trips at Belmont/Clark, then continue their normal route on Belmont.
 
Allow extra travel time.
 
Why is service being changed?
Buses will be rerouted due to sewer work at Belmont/Halsted.
 
 
 
#77 Belmont Temporary Bus Stop Relocation

8am, Wed, Feb 25 to 4pm, Fri, Mar 27 or completion 


How does this affect my trip?
The westbound bus stop on the northeast corner at Belmont/Halsted will be temporarily relocated to the northwest corner at Belmont/Halsted.

Why is service being changed?
The bus stop will be temporarily relocated due to sewer work at Belmont/Halsted.
 
 
 
#88 Higgins Temporary Reroute

7am, Wed, Feb 25 to 6pm, Fri, Mar 20 or completion

How does this affect my trip?
Westbound buses will operate via Higgins, the Harlem (O’Hare branch) Blue Line station, Harlem, Higgins, and Oriole, then resume their normal route on Talcott.

Eastbound buses are not affected.

Allow extra travel time.

Why is service being changed?
Buses are rerouted due to sewer work at Talcott/Harlem
 
 
 
#100 Jeffery Manor Express Temporary Reroute

9am, Wed, Feb 25 to 6am, Mon, April 27

How does this affect my trip?
Westbound
buses will operate via 106th, Avenue N, 100th, Commercial, and Muskegon, then resume their normal route on 106th.

Eastbound buses are not affected.

Allow extra travel time.

Why is service being changed?
Buses are rerouted due gas main work under the Calumet River at 106th between Avenue O and Muskegon. 
 
 
 
#151 Sheridan Temporary Reroute

8am, Wed, Feb 25 
to 4pm, Fri, Mar 27 or completion

How does this affect my trip?
Trips to/from Belmont/Halsted Terminal Only: Northbound #151 buses will operate via Belmont, Sheridan, Inner Lake Shore Drive, Addison, and Halsted, ending their trips at Halsted/Belmont. 

 
Southbound #151 buses will begin their trips at Belmont/Halsted, then continue their normal route on Belmont.
 
Allow extra travel time.
