Repairs are currently underway at the Sedgwick station served by the Brown and Purple Lines due to a fire earlier this afternoon. While repairs are underway, southbound trains are temporarily bypassing the Sedgwick station, and will continue to bypass the station until further notice. Northbound Brown and Purple Line service is operating normally.
Customers traveling southbound (toward the Loop) headed for the Sedgwick station are encouraged to travel to the Chicago Avenue station, the next stop after Sedgwick, and board a northbound train which will stop at Sedgwick.
