Shamrock Shuffle

The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) is a fast, convenient way for fans traveling to and from this year's Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle 8K in Grant Park.

Rail service

CTA customers can rely on the Red and Blue Lines, as well as the elevated lines in the Loop to get to the race.

Bus service

Starting at 7:30am, downtown buses will be rerouted as the Chicago Police Department closes down various streets along the race course, primarily impacting buses that operate on Michigan Avenue and State Street.

While bus reroutes are in effect, CTA bus routes #3, #4, #6, #12, #J14, #18, #29, #62 and #124 begin and end their trips at Roosevelt/State—two blocks west of Grant Park, where the race’s start/finish lines are. #124 buses will continue to provide bus service near Union Station and Ogilvie Metra Station during this time.
