Northbound Red Line Trains Temporarily Unable to Stop at Wilson, Lawrence and Argyle This Saturday

Temporary Changes in Boarding at Sheridan Also in Effect
 
A daytime reroute will be in effect for northbound Red Line trains operating between the Addison and Berwyn stations from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday, August 21, due to third rail maintenance work.
 
During this time, northbound Red Line trains will operate on the northbound Purple Line Express tracks and will be unable to make stops at the Wilson, Lawrence and Argyle stations.
 
Northbound Red Line customers who want to exit at Wilson, Lawrence or Argyle should travel to Berwyn and board a southbound train to the appropriate station. Customers at Wilson, Lawrence and Argyle who want to travel north should board a southbound train to Sheridan to access a northbound train.
 
Southbound Red Line trains are unaffected during this time and will make stops at the Argyle, Lawrence and Wilson stations.
 

Sheridan Boarding Changes – Northbound Only

Northbound customers at the Sheridan station must board and exit trains from the outer platform instead of the inner platform.
 
Southbound Red Line trains are unaffected at the Sheridan station.
 
CTA operators will announce the direction of each train. Customers are advised to allow extra travel time.
