Late Night Blue Line Service from Cumberland to Rosemont Suspended for Emergency ComEd Repairs

February 10, 2009

Rail service between the Cumberland and Rosemont stations on the O’Hare branch of the Blue Line will be suspended tonight from 12:30 a.m. to 4 a.m. to allow ComEd to make emergency repairs to a power line above the tracks.

CTA will provide a bus shuttle to substitute for rail service operating from Cumberland to Rosemont during repair hours.

Normal service will resume at 4 a.m. when repairs to the power line have been completed.

Previously a single track was scheduled to be in effect at the Rosemont station from 8 p.m. tonight until 4 a.m. Wednesday morning. This work is now postponed.
