Night Construction Detours Buses Off Kimball at Belmont November 15-19Construction on Kimball from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Thursday, November 15, through early Monday, November 19, will detour #82 Kimball/Homan buses off Kimball in both directions via Belmont, Kedzie and Addison back to Kimball.
Weekend Track Work at Pulaski Affects Forest Park Blue Line ServiceTrack work at Pulaski will require trains on the Forest Park branch of the Blue Line use a single track while serving the Kedzie-Homan, Pulaski and Cicero stations from 10 p.m. Friday, November 16, until 10 p.m. Sunday, November 18. During this period, every other train from O'Hare will terminate at the UIC-Halsted station. Trains will run every 10 to 15 minutes between O'Hare and UIC-Halsted, and every 20 to 30 minutes between UIC-Halsted and Forest Park.
Christmas Parade Detours Buses Off 63rd from Damen to Cicero Saturday A Christmas Parade will close 63rd Street between Tripp and Oakley Saturday, November 17, from about 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. #63 63rd buses will be detoured off 63rd in both directions via Cicero, Marquette and Damen back to 63rd.
Mag Mile Lights Festival Detours Buses off Michigan Saturday AfternoonBuses on eight CTA routes will be detoured off Michigan to State Street for the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival Saturday, November 17, from about 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. The affected routes are the #3 King Drive, #6 Jeffery Express#10 Museum of Science & Industry, #145 Wilson/Michigan Express, #146 Marine/Michigan Express, #147 Outer Drive Express, #151 Sheridan and #173 U. of Chicago/Lakeview Express. New #48 South Damen Routing Begins Monday, November 19Routing for the north end of the #48 South Damen bus route will be changed starting Monday, November 19. After turning west from Damen at 47th, northbound #48 buses will go north on Western Boulevard to Archer and northeast to the Orange Line station at 35th/Archer, where they will end their trips. Southbound buses will take the same new routing in reverse.
Bridge Work Closes Addison at Avondale Nightly November 19-22Bridge work on Addison at Avondale will detour #152 Addison buses off Addison via Pulaski, Irving Park, Elston and Kimball back to Addison in both directions from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Monday, November 19, through Thursday, November 22.
