Sox-35th Red Line Station Entrance Reopens for Sox Home Opener Friday

The reconstructed 35th Street entrance to the Sox-35th Red Line station reopens at 5:30 a.m. Friday, April 4, allowing #35 35th and #39 Pershing buses to return to their regular routing in time for the 3:05 p.m. White Sox home opening game against the Detroit Tigers at U.S. Cellular Field (Comiskey Park). #35 buses will resume operating east and west on 35th while #39 buses will stop at the station entrance westbound on 35th for service in both directions.

Sewer Rodding Affects Blue Line Subway Overnight Friday and Saturday

Sewer rodding will require Blue Line trains to use a single track while serving the stations at Clark/Lake, Washington, Monroe and Jackson from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Friday and Saturday, April 4 - 5, resulting in longer intervals between trains.

Construction Closes Madison from Michigan to Wabash Over the Weekend

Construction will close Madison from Michigan to Wabash from 6 a.m. Saturday, April 5 until 6 p.m. Sunday, April 6. #20 Madison, #56 Milwaukee and #60 Blue Island/26th buses will be detoured from Michigan west on Randolph and south on State before resuming their regular routing westbound on Madison.

Viaduct Work Closes Fullerton from Damen to Western Over the Weekend

Metra viaduct construction will close Fullerton between Damen and Western Saturday and Sunday, April 5 ? 6. #74 Fullerton buses will be detoured off Fullerton in both directions via Elston, Logan and Western to Fullerton.

Track Work Affects Red and Brown Line Service Sunday, April 6

Track work will require Red Line trains to use a single track while serving the Garfield station from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 6. Trains will operate every 15 minutes south of Roosevelt. Also on Sunday, Brown Line trains will use a single track while serving the stations at Western, Rockwell and Francisco from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m., resulting in intervals of 15 minutes between trains.
